Description

The function Ung_Nat2 expects some parameters that can be extracted from database. The species enables to retrieve the Duan Correction factor (Cd) from table 5 and the model parameters (v10, v11, v12, v20, v21, v22) from table 4 in Ung et al. (2009).

Arguments

species

character. Scientific name of the 25 commercial tree species (see Ung_table4and5). The specie string can be either "Abies_balsamea", "Abies_lasiocarpa", "Acer_rubrum", "Acer_saccharum", "Betula_alleghaniensis", "Betula_papyrifera", "Fagus_grandifolia", "Larix_laricina", "Larix_occidentalis", "Picea_engelmannii", "Picea_glauca", "Picea_mariana", "Picea_rubens", "Pinus_banksiana", "Pinus_contorta", "Pinus_resinosa", "Pinus_strobus", "Populus_balsamifera", "Populus_grandidentata", "Populus_tremuloides", "Pseudotsuga_menziesii", "Quercus_rubra", "Thuja_occidentalis", "Tsuga_canadensis", "Tsuga_heterophylla".
