mapBoxPlot: Base boxplot with ggplot from assay data

Description

Function for a default boxplot ggplot that can be used to dplyr::map nested data to some default plots. The base plot can be appended with ggplot::geom_point for example to create a scatterplot.

  "Value", color = "RelTime", facet1 = "AbsTime", facet2 = "Condition"))

Arguments

df

A data.frame with values to plot

title

Title of the plot

plotCols

A named list of plot settings

Details

The plotCols list must be named with at least

x

Column name of values on the X-axis

y

Column name of values on the y-axis

color

Column name of values to color by

Optionally, you can also add facets,

facet1

Column name of vertical facets

facet2

Column name of horizontal facets

Value

A ggplot object without any geom
