A package to tweet Reply All -flavored messages to people
This package contains a single function,
tweetml(), which takes a single random sample from an internal dataframe of collated "Matt Lieber is..." quotes from Gimlet Media's Reply All podcasts and tweets them to the person of your choice. I scraped the website and assembled the quotes using this R script.
twitteR::tweet(), use of the package depends on having a functional Twitter App oAuth set up for your account. If you don't, you can follow these instructions to get that going.
tweetml(), put your username of choice in quotes and don't forget the "@" symbol. To make your tweet searchable/public, add a "." before the username, like so:
These quotes, which fill me with a wholesome warmth every time I hear them on the podcast, take on a slightly creepy tinge when tweeted to someone out of context. I somehow didn't see that coming, but consider yourself warned.
