A one-stop shop for all the functions I've been using on a regular basis in the exploratory phase of my bioacoustic monitoring dissertation work. I was getting sick of copy-and-pasting. I was also getting sick of having a bunch of versions of different functions saved, which is why I'm putting this on Github even though I don't intend for it to be useful to anyone aside from me (...yet). Disclaimer if you choose to look at any of this: the code is not optimized, there are for loops where there could be vectorization, there are rookie mistakes I know about but was too lazy to fix, and there are certainly other programming sins I'm not even aware of yet that would make competent R programmers weep. I'm still learning... one dopey question on stackoverflow at a time...
