In changxiulee/BayesianRasch: Bayesian Rasch Modeling

Goal

The main goal of this package is to provide an estimate of uncertainty to the parameter of Rasch.

What's intended

I try to make sure that the result correspond to Winsteps Rasch software as much as possible. Just like Winsteps Rasch, Rasch modeling will be the main focus because it provides specific objectivity. It is not my intention to develop other model like 2PL-model and 3PL-model because to the best of my understanding, those model loses specific objectivity (Nering & Ostini, 2011; Master 1988). This package will also focus more on estimation instead of hypothesis testing (p-value).

State

Currently in beta stage. I have used simulation to test the model but more testing is required. You can help to check the accuracy of the model by comparing it with other Rasch software. Please report if you found any issues.
