The simulations in skelesim are launched using the buttons below. After creating a skeleSim object using the other tabs the Run simulation starts the simulator chosen by the user (forward or reverse time simulations currently).

Simulations will be conducted in the users Home directory, but a new directory to store simulation results can be selected using the Set Simulation Root Directory button. This is strongly recommended and this recommendation explains the parenthetical (required before proceeding below) text in the button.

If you are interested in the files that are used by a particular simulator as inputs, you can choose the Save example inputs for each scenario button. The resulting files will be placed in the simulation root directory. These files can be used to better understand the parameters required by a simulator or can be modified to include functionality that a simulator might implement but that the skeleSim GUI does not implement.
