Posterior predictive model checks can be used to test model fit in meta-analysis models. 'metaModelFitR' analyzes model fit in meta-analysis results using posterior predictive model checks and presents the results analytically using posterior predictive p-values as proposed by Park et al. (2015) <doi:10.1504/IJQRE.2015.071738> and Zhu (2009) <https:d-scholarship.pitt.edu/10162/1/XiaowenZhu_ETD2009_Final.pdf>. This package applies posterior predictive model checks to frequentist meta-analysis results, similar to the process used by Dias et al. (2010) <doi:10.1002/sim.3767> for Bayesian meta-analysis results.
