SvenKotlarski/qmCH2018: Quantile Mapping for CH2018

An implementation of quantile mapping (QM) based on empirical quantiles and developed at ETH Zurich and MeteoSwiss. The package is used for bias-correcting and downscaling EURO-CORDEX RCM output within the frame of the CH2018 Swiss Climate Change Scenarios. Several meteorological variables can be handled. New extremes are corrected according to the correction function for the highes/lowest empirical quantile considered. This implementation is based on and extends the code of Rajczak et al., International Journal of Climatology, 2016. Function families: cal... -> Calendar conversion functions. helper... -> Helper functions. meta... -> Functions to handle climate model meta data. qm... -> Quantile-mapping functions. selbox... -> Functions handling the appropriate selection of climate model grid cells. timstats... -> Functions for temporal statistics.
