akiskon89/GeoSwiss: An R package for geocoding Swiss addresses

The R package takes addresses as strings and provides the corresponding Swiss geocodes. The portals used are the federal office of topography in Switzerland (https://www.swisstopo.admin.ch/) and also google maps (https://www.google.com/maps). The geocodes come also with a quality metric, indicating how precise the geocodes are. The package also comes with functions to convert latitude and longitude to the Swiss coordinate system.
