alexchwong/NxtIRF: Graphical User Interface for High Performance BAM-based binary alternative splicing event quantitation, differential analysis, and visualisation

Interactive user-friendly GUI to analyse RNA-seq data for alternative splicing and intron retention analysis. NxtIRF analyses BAM files to quantify alternative splicing, including skipped exons, mutually- exclusive exons, alternative splice site, alternative terminal exon and retained introns. Using the IRFinder algorithm, NxtIRF quantifies both annotated and novel retained introns, and assesses intronic coverage to avoid confounding intronic elements. NxtIRF provides interactivity allowing users to easily construct complex experimental designs, test a range of event filters, perform differential expression using a range of established statistical tools, and interactively visualise results.
