bresnico/knitnbr: Custom Knit Button (File Name and Directory)
This package is based directly on Yihui's advice (https://bookdown.org/yihui/rmarkdown-cookbook/custom-knit.html). It allows the author to simply adapt the "knit" button. The adaptation concerns the name of the output file as well as the output directory.
