It provides functions to easily download data often needed for meta-research. Sources of such data include PubMed, PMC and Unpwaywall. It also provides functions to take a random sample from PubMed and PMC and functions to download PDFs of interest (if you have the link to the PDF). Finally, it can automatically find an issue-match to a specific article.
