Prescribe Compression Settings based on Hearing Loss
Description
Provides recommendations for compression speed (fast vs slow acting) and
compression ratio/release times based on the four-frequency Pure Tone Average (PTA4).
Usage
prescribe_compression(freq, threshold, module = "standard")
Arguments
freq
A numeric vector of frequencies.
threshold
A numeric vector of hearing thresholds.
module
The operating module ("standard", "cin", "mhl").
Value
A list containing compression recommendations.
