Beta model:

m(d,θ)=E_0+E_{max}B(δ_1,δ_2)(d/scal)^{δ_1}(1-d/scal)^{δ_2}

with

B(δ_1,δ_2)=(δ_1+δ_2)^{δ_1+δ_2}/(δ_1^{δ_1} δ_2^{δ_2})

and scal is a fixed dose scaling parameter.
