Stage-level (age-level) timescale used in some analyses.
data(stages2018)
A data.frame with 95 observations and 10 variables:
sysAbbreviations of geologic systems.
systemGeologic periods.
seriesGeologic series.
stageNames of geologic stages.
shortAbbreviations of geologic stages.
bottomNumeric ages of the bottoms boundaries (earliest ages) of the bins.
midNumeric age midpoints of the bins, the averages of bottom and top.
topNumeric ages of the tops (latest ages) of the bins.
durNumeric ages of the durations for the bins.
stgInteger number identifiers of the bins.
systemColHexadecimal color code of the systems.
seriesColHexadecimal color code of the series.
colHexadecimal color code of the stages.
This is an example time scale object that can be used in the Phanerozoic-scale analyses. Example occurrence datasets related to the package use the variable stg when referring to this timescale.
This is the stages object used until divDyn version 0.8.1.
