Installation

install.packages("devtools")
devtools::install_github("ankane/rollbar")

or if you use Jetpack, add to your packages.R

package("rollbar", github="ankane/rollbar")

Usage

library(rollbar)

rollbar.configure(access_token="secret", env="production")

Use your post_server_item access token

Alternatively, you can set ROLLBAR_ACCESS_TOKEN and R_ENV in your environment

Report uncaught errors automatically

rollbar.attach()

Report errors manually

rollbar.error(message)

Additional methods include

rollbar.info
rollbar.debug
rollbar.warning
rollbar.critical

Or use the generic method

rollbar.log(level, message)

Pass extra details

rollbar.info("Job successful", list(job_id=123, awesome="yes"))
