A ‘ggplot2’ Radial Bar Chart Extension for Visualizing High-dimensional Clusters and Their Evolution

Example data

"team-project-data.rds" is a list with two elements:

1. data: the dataset as tibble
2. feature_groups: feature group information as tibble

data

• Column .id: id of instance (patient)
• Column .phase: the time point of the recording. There are two unique time points, "T0" and "T1". By default, the barchart summarizes the clusters at "T0" - Note that some of the instances don’t have data for "T1"
• Column .cluster: the cluster id
• Columns whose names start with a dot (.) are not shown in the visualization

feature_groups

… matches the feature with its respective group

• Column .gr_id: id of feature group.
• Column .gr_name: feature group name. The group name is shown in the inner circle of the radial barchart.
• Column feature: the name of the feature in data
