A data set containing Airbnb listings scraped from Airbnb's website in 2019. Only the columns used in class have been documented.

Format

A data frame with 9,812 rows and 86 variables:

id

The unique id for the listing

name

Name of the listing provided by the host

host_id

The unique id of the host

host_name

Username of the host

host_since

Date when the host first joined airbnb

host_location

Where the host lives

host_about

Bio provided by the host

host_response_time

A string giving rough estimates of response time, e.g. "within a few hours"

host_response_rate

Percentage as string of times the host responds to applicants

host_acceptance_rate

Percentage of times the host accepts an application to stay at their listing

host_listings_count

The number of listings the host has posted on Airbnb

host_neighborhood

The name of the neighborhood where the host lives in their city

accommodates

The number of people that can be hosted at the listing.

review_scores_rating

Total rating of the listing out of 100

review_scores_accuracy:review_scores_value

Different sub scores of the listing. Out of 10
