Purpose

Purpose of this R package is to streamline our standard psychometric analyses.

Please review: https://cjangelo.github.io/SPR/articles/Fundamentals.html

Data management

The most important part of doing analyses in R, especially these psychometric analyses, is data management. All the functions do the work, you just have to keep track of your data management. You should constantly be using str(dat), and levels(dat$variable), etc. Keep a close eye on whether a variable is numeric or a factor. If it's a factor, check the levels and check the ordering. Do this often to avoid a problem - the function won't throw an error, you'll just get wrong results.

Be paranoid.

Testing

Please skim Chapter 12: https://r-pkgs.org/tests.html#tests

We need to implement testing of this R package.

Please identify 3 instances where the R package does something unexpected. This can be mean:

Provide 3 full reproducible examples, in alignment with proper bug reports. Review this here if you're unsure what that means: https://github.com/rstudio/rstudio/wiki/Writing-Good-Bug-Reports

Good starting point would be to investigate how the functions handle missing data.
