A dataset containing the condition grade and other attributes of almost 255,000
building components of the English School Estate. The unit_area was estimated using
the areafy2
function in this package. School identifying features have been removed.

A tibble with 254,878 rows and 30 variables:
unique identifier code of the Local Authority in which the School is located
unique identifier code of the School which can exist on more than one site, removed for annonynimity
Unique Reference Number, removed for annonynimity
A School can be located on more than one site, however one is the most common. A unique id number.
A unique ID for every building component, see building_component_lookup
Top of the building component description hierarchy.
Middle of the building component description hierarchy.
Bottom of the building component description hierarchy.
Could the cons_type be assessed? Sometimes building components might be hidden or difficult.
Semi-subjective condition grade judged by visiting quantity surveyor.
The cost to make good in pounds, to bring the offending building component, considering its unit_area back to grade A.
