In Dustin-Wood/funfield: Functional Field Functions

The funfield package is designed to help with a number of tasks relevant to the estimation of functional field models. These are intended to serve a number of functions:

• Represent a person’s belief system, and show how these beliefs, combined with their understanding of the objects present (or conditions ‘true’) at a given time create their situation.
• Detail how the expected outcomes of performing certain actions in certain situations (perhaps as rated in an elaborated situational judgment task, or ESJT) can be modeled as a covariance structure.
• Detail how this expected outcome covariance matrix can be modeled as a product of the person’s functional field model.
• Graphically represent the functional field model as a graphical causal model or path diagram.
• Provide formal representations of psychological concepts and characteristics, such as what it means to call an action assertive or difficult, or to call a person caring or callous.

Installation

The funfield package is currently only available as a development version, which can be downloaded from GitHub with:
