Description

This function calculates WHO/ISH risk scores for any epidemiolgical subregion of the world.

Usage

WHO_ISH_Risk(age, gdr, smk, sbp, dm, chl, subregion)

Arguments

age	age (years)
gdr	gender (1 = male, 0 = female)
smk	smoking status (1 = current smoker, 0 = non-smoker)
sbp	systolic blood pressure (mmHg)
dm	diabetes status (1 = diabetic, 0 = non-diabetic)
chl	total cholesterol (mmol/L)
subregion	epidemiolgical subregion (character value, one of: <e2><80><9c>AFR_D<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>AFR_E<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>AMR_A<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>AMR_B<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>AMR_D<e2><80><9d>,<e2><80><9c>EMR_B<e2><80><9d>,<e2><80><9c>EMR_D<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>EUR_A<e2><80><9d>,<e2><80><9c>EUR_B<e2><80><9d>, EUR_C<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>SEAR_B<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>SEAR_D<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>WPR_A<e2><80><9d>, <e2><80><9c>WPR_B<e2><80><9d>)

Details

This function calculates WHO/ISH risk scores for any epidemiological subregion based on the values of six paramters passed to it (age, gender, smoking status, systolic blood pressure, diabetes status, and total cholesterol).

Value

A vector of WHO/ISH risk scores.
