In EFastner/icescrapR: A package for scraping and summarizing PbP Data from NHL.com

This is not meant to be a full breakdown of the NHL.com API, however it is just my general observations while working within the framework.

Base URL: https://statsapi.web.nhl.com/api/v1/

Confirmed directories that can be accessed:

/game/\<gameid>/content
There is a lot of information here. Would be fun to dig through more
/game/\<gameid>/feed/live
This seems very similar to the PBP data that everyone uses as well as just general game data (date/time, status, rosters, )
/venues/\<venueid>
Not a lot of information here, just the name of the venue for the most part
/people/\<personid>
Player data for sure, but I assume other members of the org as well?
/teams/\<teamid>
Team data, looks like active and inactive
/divisions/\<divisionid>
/conferences/\<conferenceid>
/franchises/\<franchiseid>
Kind of disappointing, not a lot here other than when the franchise started, and the current team. Might be cool to tie in with teams since every team has a franchiseid
