In ELIFE-ASU/rinform: An R Wrapper of the 'Inform' C Library for Information Analysis of Complex Systems

• Modified src/inform-1.0.0/Makevars to solve compilation issues on Solaris on CRAN (NB: we are unable to reproduce this problem locally).

• Bug solved in src/inform-1.0.0/transfer_entropy.c that was affecting the computation of complete transfer entropy.

• Improved Travis configuration (automatic deploy of gh-pages, check with valgrind, check with Solaris through rhub).

• Memory management for functions r_integration_evidence_parts_ and r_black_box_parts_ has been converted from using malloc to R_alloc, which was still causing an invalid read of 4 bytes on CRAN.

• Bug solved in inform_predictive_info which was causing an invalid read of 4 bytes. Developers of 'Inform' have been made aware of this bug.

• Bug solved in memory management for functions r_integration_evidence_parts_ and r_black_box_parts_.

• The R/check_parameters.R file is now compliant with noLD compilation mode.

• The src/inform-1.0.0/Makevars file is now fully POSIX compliant.

• The copyright of all files contained in the folders R/ src/ and tests/ has been changed to the package author and contributor Gabriele Valentini and Douglas G. Moore as ELIFE@ASU is not a legal organization.

• First official release of the rinform package wrapping the C library Inform version 1.0.0.
