Migration data of Mexico, from 1970 to 2050.
Description
A dataset containing the estimated migration by CONAPO between 1970 and 2050.
This dataset is the expansion of df_migration by years and by age.
The age was expanded by applying the population proportion in relation to
the age group, the year and the state.
The years were expanded, by equally distributing the population in each year
group
Usage
df_migration_expanded
Format
A data frame with 2,116,800 rows and 8 variables:
- year
Year of the data
- state
State where the migration occurred
- age
Age to which belongs the data
- CVE_GEO
Geographical code of the state of occurrence
- sex
Sex of the migrants
- emigrants
Number of emigrants
- immigrants
Number of immigrants
- type
Type of migration: Interstate, International or Total
Details
These estimations are disaggregated by year, state, sex and type of migration
(immigration or emigration).
