Description Details Note Author(s) References
Estimates from 1950-2015 based on the United Nations World Population Prospects 2015. Projections generated using a model for probabilistic migration introduced by Azose et al. (2016).
Package: | wpp2015BayesMig |
Version: | 0.2-0 |
Date: | 2017-1-27 |
The package contains the following datasets:
pop, popproj, popproj80u, popproj80l, popproj95u, popproj95l, popprojHigh, popprojLow: historical estimates of total population counts, as well as the median, probability bounds and the high and low variants of population projections.
popF, popM, popXprojMed, popXproj80u, popXproj80l, popXproj95u, popXproj95l, popXprojHigh, popXprojLow: age- and sex-specific population estimates and projections with X=“F” and “M”, including the median, probability bounds and the high and low variants.
migration: total net migration historical estimates (from wpp2015 package).
migproj, migproj80u, migproj80l, migproj95u, migproj95l: projection of net migration including the median and probability bounds.
mrateproj, mrateproj80u, mrateproj80l, mrateproj95u, mrateproj95l: projection of annual net migration rate including the median and probability bounds.
UNlocations: location dataset
Other population datasets, e.g. on the scale of proportions, available.
These are not official UN projections. See the wpp2015 package for the latest UN projections.
