toRd
method.obj
argument, the argument to be converted...
'. Which is either
ignored or passed on. It is exclusively for arguments of non toRd methods
called in the course of conversion.Control for formatting is maintained through the control parameter, which must
appear after the ...
argument.
It is expected to be passed onto any other toRd methods.
The control parameter may be passed in the ...
arguments if there are no
options for formatting that specific block.
Control arguments when not present are pulled from the heirarchical options
of the form "`documentation::Rd::toRd::class::param", where class is the
class of the object being converted and the param is the formatting parameter
being referenced. The following control parameters are defined and have the
defined meaning.
indent
, a logical flag to indicate if indentation of content
should be performed. Defaults to FALSE
.indent.with
used what to indent with. Only used if indent is true.
Defaults to 4 spaces.wrap.lines
, a logical flag to indicate if long Rd_TEXT
(freeform
text) should be wrapped to multiple lines when formatted.
Defaults to FALSE
.wrap.at
, an integer indicating the number of characters at which
to wrap the lines. Used only if wrap.lines is true.
Defaults to 72 characters.toRd methods should not perform indentation or line wrapping themselves but call Rd_canonize to perform these tasks and to ensure that the formatted Rd conforms to an expected class.
Rd_canonize()
to ensure this happens.Add the following code to your website.
