Contributor Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

In order to advance in the creation of knowledge and promoting collaborative, open source work environments, as contributors and maintainers of this project, we are committed to fostering an open and welcoming environment for all people who contribute. We pledge to make participation in this project a harassment-free experience, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation. We believe in a kind, safe and welcoming environment where people are not fearful to contribute their ideas or be their true selves.

Our Standard

The following are suggestions of encouraged behavior that will contribute to a positive, cohesive work environment :

• Giving credit to other sources' thoughts, words or ideas
• Using welcoming inclusive language
• Respecting differing viewpoints
• Showing empathy in necessary circumstances
• Accepting constructive critiques and review
• Welcoming discussions and suggestions on how to better the community and project
• Being kind and open to new ideas and recommendations

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated and participants may face temporary or permanent repercussions if deemed necessary. Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to the following:

• Using sexual language or imagery
• Derogatory comments or personal attacks
• Demeaning or condescending language
• Bullying
• Public or private harassment
• Insults, curses, or name calling of any sort
• Any form of action that makes any individual feel unsafe or fearful.
• Any other form of unprofessional conduct

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to the following: remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct. Project contributors and maintainers who do not follow the Code of Conduct may be temporarily banned or permanently removed from the project community.

Instances of abusive, harassing or otherwise, unacceptable behavior may be reported by opening an issue or contacting one or more of the project maintainers.
