Requirements

Imports

Functions reused from other packages (necessary in all cases). These are part of the base R distribution.

utils

• utils::read.csv(): Used to read in registry tables.
• utils::download.file(): Used for downloading with the default sockets.
• utils::unzip(): Used for extracting zip archives during fetching.
• utils::flush.console(): Used for console-feedback.
• utils::sessionInfo(): Used to get the chronosphere version to display appropriate logs.
• utils::assignInNamespace(): Used to replace variables in the package namespace, for instance by configure() and during fetching.
• utils::broweURL(): Used to access the information on data items with info().

tools

• tools::md5sum(): Used to check integrity of downloaded files.

Suggests

Functions from some packages that are used by some functions only (optional):

• tinytest: Used to execute minimalstic testing on CRAN, and complete tests locally.
• curl: As an alternative to downloading with the default R sockets, CURL can be used as the main engine, which can be set by configure().
