Progress updates

Emily

• Data issues almost completely resolved - some metadata discrepancies discussed with BC
• search function complete, waiting for testing
• demo presentation nearing completion

Benoit

• Working with CL on mission ID discrepanicies between physical and biological data
• biological uses mission_descriptor, physical uses mission_name (both in BioChem with some issues)
• CL will summarize issues to report to BioChem data management (Shelley Bond?, AZMP committee?)

Chantelle

• completed P5 upload
• waiting in a pull request on main branch due to mission identifier issues
• Will be working on HL2/ other azmp data in the next few weeks
• will need to be hooked into bio data with some scripts

Search function

• EC reviewed search function capabilities
• multiple keywords
• search through var names

• search through help files

• Testing will take place this week with CL and BC

• Vignette rough draft on how to use the search capabilities of azmpdata and general R searching tactics (EC will share with group)

FTP server

• BC has FTP server access
• Successful tests with data
• BC will update package scripts to pull data from FTP links instead of dropbox
• 10 GB avaialable (not fixed space, may need to share!)
• content typically purged every 2 months, admins have removed this for azmpdata
• BC will share login info
• BC will write up info on FTP to keep record with package for future reference

Workplan

• Workplan in group chat updated (azmpdatatasklist.xlsx)

• adding plotting vignette to workplan

• EC will rough draft a plotting vignette
• simple examples in base, ggplot2, and oce
• using code from Benoit's plotting functions
• compare with gslea package plotting capabilities
• reproduce example plots from gslea in azmpdata for direct inter-region comparison
