• Victoria's unemployment rate rose from 3.5 to 3.6 per cent;
• The number of people employed in Victoria rose from 3.516m to 3.518m, a rise of 2,200 workers;
  • Full-time employment fell by 1,200 workers (-0.1%);
  • Part-time employment rose by 3,300 workers (0.3%);
• The number of unemployed people in Victoria rose from 126,400 to 133,000, a rise of 6,600 people;
• Victoria's participation rate rose from 66.7 to 66.8 per cent, a rise of 0.1 percentage points;
• The total number of hours worked in Victoria rose by 1.7%;
• Victoria's underemployment rate remained at 5.7 per cent percentage points;
• The youth unemployment rate in Victoria fell from 9.6 to 9 per cent, a fall of 0.6 percentage points (smoothed using a 12-month rolling average);
• The unsmoothed, original youth unemployment rate is 8.2 percent, compared to 7.6 percent a month earlier.
