Description
Generate initial parameter values for fitting a structural equation model
of pre-spawning mortality by drawing a sample from the posterior of a previously
fitted model. This may be useful in a setting such as cross-validation.
Usage

stan_init_cv(fit)
Arguments
fit
A stanfit object containing posterior samples from a pres-spawning mortality
structural equation model, as returned by SEMPSM::sem_psm(). Initial values are drawn
randomly from the joint posterior in fit.
Value
A named list of initial parameter values to be passed to rstan::stan().
