atmosphericEmissivity: Effective atmospheric emissivity

Description Usage Arguments References See Also

Description

Compute the effective atmospheric emissivity proposed by Bastiaanssen (1995) and used by Allen et al. (2007) to derive the longwave downward radiation.

Usage

1
atmosphericEmissivity(tau, cf1 = 0.85, cf2 = 0.09, ...)

Arguments

tau

Broadband atmospheric transmissivity, e.g. derived from atmosTrans.

cf1, cf2

numeric multiplying factor (cf1) and exponent, default to the values defined by Allen et al. (2007).

...

Further arguments passed on to calc.
