Format

A data.table.

Details

  • locale - Equivalent regional locale, if one exists.

  • variant - Equivalent script variant, if one exists.

  • ISO639.1 - ISO 639-1 language code.

  • ISO639.2T - ISO 639-2T language code.

  • ISO639.2B - ISO 639-2B language code.

  • ISO639.3 - ISO 639-3 language code.

  • ISO639.6 - ISO 639-6 language code.

  • wikipedia - Wikipedia language code.

  • other - Alternative language code.

  • autonym - Name(s) for the language in the language.

  • en - English name(s) for the language.

  • fr - French name(s) for the language.

  • de - German name(s) for the language.

  • ru - Russian name(s) for the language.

  • it - Italian name(s) for the language.

  • zh - Chinese name(s) for the language.

  • ISO639.3_macro - ISO 639-3 macrolanguage.

  • scope - Language scope ("individual", "macro", "collective", or "special").

  • type - Language type ("living", "ancient", "historical", "extinct", "constructed", or "special").

  • family - Family to which the language belongs.

  • retired - Whether the language has been retired.

  • wikpipedia_url - URL to the wikipedia article for the language.
