#'          A list containing the data of the regions of Germany.
#'          As some regions have islands the first level again is a list containg the matrices with the coordinates of the polygons.

#'     \item The coordinate are assumed to be on a kilometer level which means, distances measured in KM can be calculated using euklidian distances.
#'     \item For convenience the coordinates have been moved to an origin located on the south-east corner. 
#'     \item The accuracy of the data is not proven and supposed as a not bad approach. If serious calculations regarding real distances are supposed to be made, this data definitely is unappropriate.
