In fstpackage/syntheticbench: Synthetic dataset creation and serialization benchmarks

Submission

This is the first submission of package syntheticbench (version 0.0.4). The package facilitates benchmarking of and comparison between various serialization options such as fst, arrow, feather, SQLite, saveRDS / readRDS and fread / fwrite.

Test environments

• OSX on travis-ci
• Ubuntu 14.04 on travis-ci
• Ubuntu 18.10 locally
• Windows 10 local R 3.6.1
• Windows 10 local R-dev 4.0.0 pre-release
• Windows Server 2012 R2 x64 (build 9600) on AppVeyor (R 3.6.1)
