Description

Constructor of objects of class Kernel.

Usage

Kernel(Type = NULL, Mat = NULL, Kernpar = NULL, bincat = NULL)

Arguments

Type	[character] Type of kernel. Must be chosen from the following strings: "lin_kernel", "add_kernel", "rbf_kernel", "rbf4_kernel" or "poly_kernel".
Mat	[matrix(1)] Kernel matrix.
Kernpar	[vector(1)] Kernel parameters, when required.
bincat	[vector(1)] Index of binary/categorical variables.

Value

[Kernel(1)] Object of class Kernel, with elements:

Type	type of kernel,
Mat	matrix used to perform differences between comparable data points.
