In jackwasey/icd.data: International Classification of Diseases (ICD) Data

icd.data 1.1.2

• WHO ICD-10 codes for 2016 in English, and 2008 in French, downloaded on demand. get_icd10who2016() and get_icd10who2008fr()
• French ICD-10 (CIM-10) codes for 2019, with data available with English or French column names
• Belgian ICD-10 codes, data has columns for French, Dutch and English translations. e.g., `get_icd10be
• Includes ICD-10-CM 2019 with more than 2000 new codes as package data named icd10cm2019, and on-demand access to ICD-10-CM from 2014 to 2019 with get_icd10cm2014() etc.. icd10cm2016 remains but will be removed in a future version.
• ICD-10-CM for all year fro 2014 to 2019, with functions to select which to use. Default is currently 2019.
• geticd10cm_latest() and get_icd10cm_active() return the appropriate data, which can be set with a session-wide option
• Add get_icd9cm2014() (and back through to get_icd9cm2005()), which will replace the deprecated and poorly named icd9cm_hierarchy package data.
• Moved data creation code from 'icd' package to 'icd.data'
• Works best with 'icd' package >= 4.0, but not required. This gives the ability to use these data to explain codes, e.g., icd::explain_code(icd::as.icd10be("R21"), lang = "nl") gives the Dutch explanation of that code.

• Initial release with data generated by 'icd' package.
