You will need a Spotify and a Genius Account.

For Spotify

1. Visit https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard/ and log in with your Spotify account.

2. Create an app. Fill in anything for the app name and description. You can select “I don’t know” for the question “What are you building?”

3. Save your Client ID and Client Secret.

For Genius

1. Visit https://genius.com/api-clients/new to create a Genius API client.

2. Fill in anything for the app name and for the app website url, you can type in “http://anything.com”

3. Save the client ID, client secret, and the client access token.
