Optimization of Image Segmentation Parameters for Object-Based Image Analysis (OBIA)

Description

Provides a set of tools for optimizing segmentation parameters for Object-based Image Analysis (OBIA) of Remote Sensing/Earth Observation imagery, combining genetic or search algorithms, supervised classification, automatic feature generation and classification performance evaluation. For more information see the paper Goncalves, J. et al. (2019) <doi:10.1016/j.jag.2018.11.011>. It also implements several unsupervised classification (or clustering) for multiple algorithms and compares different solutions based on internal clustering criteria.
