Functions for handling fatality data in Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS)
This is the week 4 assignment for Coursera course "Building R Packages"
This package export five functions for the analysis of data in Fatality Analysis Reporting System. Three functions are related to reading the data: make_filename, fars_read, and fars_read_years. One is for summarizing the monthly tally by year: fars_smmarize_years. And the last one is for plotting the locations of accidents by state and year: fars_map_state.
A vignette to show how the functions are used is also included.
