GeomTimeline: Geom for timelines

GeomTimeline is a custom Geom for displaying timelines of earthquakes.

1	GeomTimeline

An object of class GeomTimeline (inherits from Geom, ggproto) of length 5.

A Geom object that is used within the geom_timeline function.

This is an internal function that is not directly called by the user. The aesthetics are as follows:

x: A vector of dates.
y (optional): A factor indicating some stratification in which case multiple time lines will be plotted for each level of the factor (e.g. country).
colour (optional): A numeric vector used for colouring the timeline marker borders.
fill (optional): A numeric vector used for colouring the timeline marker bodies.
size (optional): A numeric vector used for adjusting the size the timeline markers.
alpha (optional): A numeric value indicating the marker's level of transparency.
shape (optional): An integer code (0:25) for one of a set of graphics symbols. See pch at ?points.
