WA+ communicates information on water storage, flows and fluxes for a variety of land use
systems using many intuitive resource sheets, tables and maps that are designed to be
understood by people with technical and non-technical backgrounds alike. The WA+ framework
is developed by the UNESCO-IHE, Delft, The Netherlands in partnership with the International
Water Management Institute, Colombo, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United
Nations, and the World Water Assessment Program.
