format_gaugestats: Format gauge statistics

Description

Final selection of gauging stations and formatting of gauge statistics + hydro-environmental attributes.

Usage

format_gaugestats(in_gaugestats, in_gaugep, yearthresh)

Arguments

in_gaugestats	data.table of summary time series statistics and intermittency statistics for all gauging stations (GRDC + GSIM) not excluded in QA/QC process.
in_gaugep	table of hydro-environmental attributes for all gauging stations.
yearthresh	(integer) minimum year from which to analyze/consider discharge record.

Details

An additional set of gauges are excluded in this step:

• All gauges with less than 10 years of data are excluded (considering only years with no more than 20 days of missing data)

• All gauges with a Degree of Regulation >= 50% are excluded (Lehner et al. 2011)

Value

data.table of gauging stations included in all subsequent analysis, with summary time series statistics and hydro-environmental attributes.
