Description

Dataset containing meta information for the nwis network

Usage

usgs_meta

Format

a dataframe instance, 1 row per station with columns:

• 'siteID': A character NWIS unique identifier

• 'COMID': A numeric NHD unique indentifier (common identifier)

• 'lat': A numeric Station latitude, decimil degree

• 'lon': A numeric Station longitude, decimil degree

• 'name': A character Station name

• 'huc8': A character HUC8 unit station resides in

• 'tzOffset': A character Timezone offset from UTC

• 'tz': A character Timezone

• 'state': A character State where station is located (2 character abbriviation)

• 'county': A character County where station is located

• 'geoid': A character Joing state and county FIP code

• 'startDate': A Date Date of first recorded value

• 'endDate': A Date Date of last recorded value (subset on 2018-10-08 so this refers to 'present')

• 'avg.flow': A numeric Mean flow over record

• 'sd.flow': A numeric Standard devaition of flow over record

• 'min.flow': A numeric Minimum flow over record

• 'max.flow': A numeric Maximum flow over record

• 'percent0': A numeric Percent of observations with 0 flow

• 'n.days': A numeric Length of the record (days)
