In numbats/yowie: Longitudinal Wages Data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1979

This package contains three datasets of measurements on wages over time extracted from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1979 (the NLSY79).

yowie 0.1.1

• Add new variables related to work experince (stwork, yr_wforce, exp) to the wages and wages_hs_do data.
• Add new variables related to high school completed (hgc_1979 and grade).
• Modify the filtering rules to subset the dropouts cohort.
• Change the variable name from gender to sex.
• Change the variable's levels for sex ("m" and "f" for Male and Female, respectively) and race ("B", "H", and "NBH" for "Black", "Hispanic", and "Non-Black, Non-Hispanic", respectively)
