In perfectslumber/far: Fatality Analysis Report System Data Processing
This far package serves as an assignment for Coursera's "Building R Packages" course.
A detailed vignette can be found in the "vignettes" directory.
This package includes data from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Fatality Analysis Reporting System, which is a nationwide census providing the American public yearly data regarding fatal injuries suffered in motor vehicle traffic crashes from 2013 to 2015.
This package provides functions to read data from the raw data file, summarize the number of incidents occurred in each month in the given year, and plot the incidents on a map of requested state in a year.
