Manage local CRAN-compliant package repositories. Integrates well (or will eventually do so) with devtools, packrat, miniCRAN, checkpoint and drat.

Classes

• PackageRepository:

  Class representing repository structures

Main functions and methods

• ensure:

  Creates/ensure a local package repository with repo$ensure()

• exists:

  Verify existence with repo$exists()

• register:

  Register your repository in the R options with repo$register()

• browse:

  Browse content with repo$browse(), repo$browse(type = "source"), repo$browse(type = "mac.binary") and repo$browse(type = "win.binary")

• buildInto:

  Build your package directly into your local package repository with repo$buildInto()

• show:

  Show index content with repo$show(), repo$show(type = "source"), repo$show(type = "mac.binary") and repo$show(type = "win.binary")

• has:

  Look for specific packages with repo$has(), repo$has(type = "source", atomic = FALSE), repo$hasPackager(type = "mac.binary") and repo$has(type = "win.binary")

• refresh:

  Refresh with repo$refresh()

• clean:

  Clean (remove/archive outdated packages and refresh) with repo$clean(), repo$clean(type = "source"), repo$clean(type = "mac.binary") and repo$clean(type = "win.binary")

• remove:

  Remove specific packages with repo$remove(), repo$remove(type = "source"), repo$remove(type = "mac.binary") and repo$remove(type = "win.binary")

• reset:

  Reset entire repository with repo$reset()

• delete:

  Delete entire repository with repo$delete()
