In rbcavanaugh/pnt: Computer adaptive forms of the Philadelphia Naming Test

Administer several adaptive and static versions of the PNT to estimate naming ability:

• 30-item PNT-CAT (Hula et al., 2015)
• 175-item PNT-CAT (Fergadiotis et al., 2015)
• Two static 30-item PNT short-forms (Walker & Schwartz, 2012)
• 175-item Standard PNT (Roach et al., 1996)

Re-administer a PNT to assess change in naming ability:

• 30-item PNT-CAT
• Variable-length PNT-CAT
• The unused 30-item PNT short-form

Rescore PNT administrations after offline scoring or score a PNT administered offline

Notes

1. Re-administrations are limited based on the first test administered:

   • If the 30-item PNT-CAT is administered first, the 30-item PNT-CAT or variable-length PNT-CAT can be administered second.
   • If one of the two 30-item static short forms (Walker & Schwartz, 2012) are administered first, the other can be administered second.
   • If either 175-item tests are administered first, we do not recommend excluding items on the second

2. For each option, users have the option of downloading performance data and a pdf-report of the results.

3. The item 'eskimo' is excluded from all PNT-CAT administrations and excluded by default for the standard PNT administrations, although there is an option to include it for the full PNT. See here
