Mark's review

Dit is het lied van K3 waardoor ik afhankelijk fan ben geworden, op dertienjarige leeftijd. Ik vind het erg mooi klinken. Het lied klinkt vrolijk en opbeurend.

Ik ken alleen de oude versie van dit lied, die gezongen werd door Kathleen Aerts, Karen Damen en Kristel Verbeke. De nieuwe versie, gezongen door de volledige nieuwe samenstelling van K3, heb ik nog nooit gehoord, dus die kan ik ook niet beoordelen.

This song is about accidentally meeting the boy of your dreams, unexpectedly ending that contact en the search for him.

I like the song theme, I like that it has some sweet French words in it. I am impressed that K3 finds out that quickly that they love the boy [1]. A lightning strike [2] is very very rare accident for losing a misdial phone connection, but I do accept it for its poetic purposes.

There is a big difference in the two formations: In the KKK formation, I loved Karen's whiskey-toned voice and the full sound of Kristel's voice. The HKM formation, probably due to lack of experience, cannot sing (yet) with that same body, with voices sounding to thin. I think that due to this the recording with the HKM formation has more beat and bass to fill this void, without too much success.
